It looks like one chapter for Nikon mirrorless cameras has ended, and the other is about to begin. Nikon 1, the first line of mirrorless cameras from the company, has just been discontinued. Back in August 2017, Nikon stopped producing the cameras from this lineup, and there were no subsequent models announced. And now it’s officially over: the entire Nikon 1 lineup has been listed as discontinued on the official Japanese website....
Well, it looks like Nikon’s following on from Canon’s lead with the lens goals over the next few years. Canon’s annual financial report and presentation said they want to release 8 RF lenses per year for the next four years (32 in total by the end of 2025) and now Nikon’s recently released “Medium-Term Management Plan” also sets its sights on a goal of 50 lenses in the Nikkor Z lineup by the end of 2025....
So here’s an interesting bit of news, if true. Panasonic is apparently getting ready to announce a new “Cine LUMIX” camera at the end of the month, according to a post on L-Rumors. There isn’t much information about it yet, or, well, any at all, really, except for rumours, but they have high confidence that they’re true. L-Rumors says that a “highly reliable source” says that it will have an L mount lens mount, along with a brand new full-frame sensor....

The police assaulted and arrested the photographer for filming in public, he was left bleeding, and he caught the incident on camera. The photographer behind the channel Concerned citizens where is the constitution had an encounter with the police that didn’t end well. He was filming three police officers out in the street when they asked him to leave....
We’ve seen photographer Josh Rossi turn kids into superheroes before. When his three-year-old daughter received hateful comments after he photographed her as Wonder Woman, the photographer decided to use his creativity to send a message against bullying. He gathered fifteen kids who have been bullied and turned them into Avengers for a photo shoot. This project hasn’t only resulted in epic images, but it has also empowered the kids who have been facing bullying and hatred on a daily basis....
