We’ve been fans of the Feelworld F6 Plus here at DIYP for a while. It’s a great monitor for what it costs, offering a 1080p IPS touchscreen display, LUTs and 4K HDMI support. If you have planned to switch to Nikon Z mirrorless system, perhaps now is a good time. Nikon has launched a trade-in program which offers discounts on Z6 and Z7 cameras if you hand over your working DLSR or mirrorless. And on top of your old camera’s value, you will get up to $400 additional discount. From 27 January to 31 March 2019, you can hand over your old interchangeable lens camera (ILC) to an authorized Nikon dealer and trade it for a brand new Z6 or Z7....
The Nikon KeyMission cameras have had a bit of a tough time. First the KeyMission 360 suffered a long delayed launch. Then the line was split into three separate cameras, all of which felt a bit underwhelming. Finally they were unleashed on the general public, few of which seem particularly impressed by them. One thing that’s not been mentioned much is the KeyMission’s durability. Chances are, this is because few have had one long enough to really put it to the test....
When I made the move from Nikon to Sony, dust became an issue for me. I was not only moving from one brand to another but also from a DSLR to a mirrorless system. While my Nikons were not immune to sensor dust, it was never a big issue. I suspect that the mirror protected the sensor from stray particles. With the mirror gone1, dust seemed to be magically attracted to the sensor every time I swapped a lens....
