If you’ve been shooting 4K video with your Sony A7III and thought things looked a little off, you might just be right. While shooting some footage for a video, Caleb Pike over at DSLR Video Shooter noticed that footage shot at different resolutions on the A7III wasn’t quite lining up. It seems that 4K 24fps full frame video was actually being stretched vertically. You can see in the above shots of full frame vs super 35 crop mode, that horizontally the images line up all the way....

It’s a pretty bold claim to say you’re the world’s something-est anything. But that’s what William Optics are doing with their new Redcat 250mm f/4.9 lens, hailing it as the “World’s Sharpest” 250mm lens ever made for full frame cameras. Which, to be fair, is possibly true, as very few 250mm lenses have ever been made for full frame cameras. Interestingly, though, it’s based on a Petzval design, which is typically more associated with “swirly bokeh” than sharpness....

Thanks to NASA’s Mars rovers, we’re learning more about the Red Planet. But they allow us to enjoy some remarkable photos, too. Recently, the Curiosity rover captured a rare sight on Mars: clouds. Even though this landscape photo looks like it was taken on Earth, it’s actually a rarely seen cloudy day on our neighboring planet. Due to the thin and dry atmosphere of Mars, it’s not very common to see the clouds there....

We’ve seen all kinds of weird methods for taking down drones. But if you’ve been wondering what the most dangerous one may be – I think I’ve just found it.
