Kodak released its free Professional Film App for the iPhone in 2012, and it’s seen a couple of small updates since then. Now, they’ve released both iPad and Android versions of the app. As somebody who got back into film a few years ago, I’ve kept my eye on various apps that have spawned for iOS and Android. I’ve still not found anything that lets me do everything I need, but the Kodak app has proven to be occasionally helpful....

We’ve spoken about saturation vs vibrance before, but I think it’s a topic that still confuses a lot of people. It looks like Leica cameras are seeing another price increase. After already raising the prices earlier this year, some Leica gear has now become even more expensive. As folks at Leica Rumors noticed, the prices of two cameras went up. The Leica Q2 went up by $200 and now costs $5,695. The Leica SL2 went up by $300 and its price is now $6,895. Both of these cameras were already made more expensive in April when Leica increased prices by 2-5%....

Another week, another new Leica. This time, they’ve announced the new Leica D-Lux 7. Offering “unmatched versatility”, it’s what they’re describing as the “Swiss Army knife of Leica compact cameras”. It contains a 17MP sensor, a 24-75mm equivalent f/1.7-2.8 lens and unlike other recent Leica offerings, this one once again bears the red dot. This is kind of a low budget model, as far as Leica goes, coming in at only $1,195....

It’s not uncommon that Instagram photos end up being stolen and shared without credits. Some even got sold for big money (remember Richard Prince?). But, recently a Red Sox fan ended up having his $650 World Series ticket stolen – all because he posted it to Instagram. 28-year-old Robbie Johnson from Wellesley got a ticket for the World Series. And just like many people do, he took a snapshot and posted the photo to Instagram to share his excitement....
