A new teaser released by Nikon for their new mirrorless camera suggests that they might be ditching the DSLR completely. It also offers a bit better look at the body & lens mount. It also suggests that the new mirrorless camera could be aimed squarely at professional users – which would make a lot of sense. Nikon recently celebrated their 100th birthday, and the teaser cycles through the meaningful cameras in Nikon’s history....

YouTube has updated its iOS and Android apps with a new feature that lets you convert up to 60 seconds from your existing long-form content YouTube videos into Shorts. The new feature offers all of the usual editing tools you’re used to from the YouTube app including text, timeline editor filters, etc. and will let you bring some of your older content back to the forefront of your feed. As well as letting you pick pre-existing videos, you can also extend clips shorter than 60 seconds with the Shorts camera or upload more videos from your phone’s gallery to make it fill up to the 60-second Shorts limit....

Profoto has announced its latest generation of flash trigger, the Connect Pro supporting TTL in Nikon, Canon, Sony, Leica and Fuji versions, as well as a non-TTL version for everybody else. Like most flash triggers, it sits in your camera’s hotshoe for easy remote control of one or multiple flashes. Up to six groups of lights (three with TTL) can be controlled by the Connect Pro through a large and intuitive user interface display, with 100 channels available to help ensure interference-free control and no conflicts with other nearby Profoto shooters....
